You’re about to get a special treat because Louis Vuitton has just released a new handbag and it’s called the Wight Bag. This bag is from the Fall 2017 Collection and it’s a mix of classic with a modern touch. It’s certainly eye-catching and everyone will obvious know that it’s a Louis Vuiton creation, but there is a little twist.

The Wight Bag is made with round curvy shape and we love that. It’s feminine but bold and elegant. It’s perfect for casual days like when you’re having a cup of coffee with friends or you can also wear it for special occasions. Such a multiple use handbag is well worth your investment.

Covered with the iconic Damier Ebene Canvas, but the center is designed with a generous stripe of bright color for the easy elegance. The stripe is made from Cuir Taurillon leather and it looks luxurious especially with the signature button lock in golden hardware.

This bag comes with thin golden sliding chain for shoulder carry or cross body. Then it’s refined with signed eyelets, which embolden the casual chic look.

The interior is nice as well, when you open the flap, you will find 1 interior zipped pocket and 1 double smartphone pocket.

Choosing the right color is important; my personal preference is bright color like magnolia instead of black. Because it adds a personality to it and feels more attractive.

Goyard Launches New Bannière Personalization Style

THERE’S NOW A NEW WAY TO MAKE YOUR GOYARD BAG UNIQUELY YOURS

For many Goyard shoppers, the bags themselves are only part of the brand’s tremendous draw—they’re a canvas to create something unique. Because Goyard offers such detailed and wide-ranging personalization services, clients can have almost anything hand-painted onto their new bag or trunk that they can imagine. The brand offers a starting point with a few standard monogram styles, and now it’s adding a new one to the lineup: Goyard Bannière Millesime Marquage.

“Bannière” literally means “banner” in French, and as you can see, that refers a a three-stripe ribbon that can now unfurl down the front of your Goyard St. Louis Tote, among others—it’s available on trunks and small leather goods, in addition to handbags, and comes in broad color choices.

We don’t have specific pricing for this new personalization style, but based on comments from our PurseForum, it’s more expensive than the existing standard stripes and letters. And that makes sense—creating the sense of movement that Bannière has is more difficult and labor-intensive than creating straight lines, and the overall design is also quite large.

Goyard has launched this design with the Bannière Marquage US Tour, which might be coming to a boutique or department store near you and allows shoppers to meet the artisans. If the tour has already been to your city or you’re outside the US, you can still request Bannière personalization through your boutique.

Take a look at Gucci’s new ‘Star Trek’ inspired FY17 campaign

Now who wouldn’t like a fashion dose inspired by the cult TV show ‘Star Trek’ and some classic sci-fi movies from the 50’s? We don’t know about you, but a fusion like that is sure to have us as takers! Quite recently, Gucci has come up with a similar ad campaign that draws heavily from the Star Trek series as well as other iconic motion pictures such as the Creature from the Black Lagoon, Lost in Space, and The Valley of Gwangi.


The video is rolled out as the brand’s novel fashion campaign for the year and it is already making headlines. Put together by the label’s creative director, Alessandro Michele, and Glen Luchford who was also responsible for the Gucci’s Northern Soul-inspired Pre-Fall campaign., it shows an interesting take on Star Trek in general. As per the fashion house, “this season the collection is transported to a parallel universe where a mixed cast of humanoids, aliens, robots and earthlings unite for the Gucci invasion from a galaxy far, far away.”

That explains why and how Star Trek and the varied 50’s B-movies have played muse to the quirky Gucci campaign. The retro-futuristic settings within the video have certainly piqued our interest into the what the brand holds for fashion connoisseurs this year. But for now, we are going to finish this up with a big Thumbs-up for Gucci and it’s uber-creative FY17 campaign!
